Delta Air Lines has announced that Sydney will be serviced by aircraft carrying the new Delta One Business Class Suites in 2019.

The airline has commenced refurbishments of its entire fleet of B777 aircraft. The Boeing 777-200LR aircraft will be fitted with the new business class product and will start operating the Sydney-Los Angeles route from April 16, 2019.

The Delta One Suite, which are currently available on the carrier’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft, will be the first all-suite business class cabin which services Australia and the United States. The B777 will also feature the new Delta Premium Select.

Each Delta One Suite will boast a full height door for enhanced privacy, direct aisle access, and seats that transform into fully-flat beds. The upgrades are part of Delta’s multi-billion-dollar investment in the overall customer experience.
