cape-town-1562907_960_720[8837]Singapore Airlines is launching daily services to Cape Town. The airline is adding to its current flight frequency to meet increasing demand to the South African legislative capital city.

From March 26, Singapore Airlines’ services to Cape Town, via Johannesburg, will go from four flights per week to daily. The boost in flights will run alongside the Star Alliance member’s existing service to Johannesburg with flight number SQ478 operating as the outbound service, whilst flight SQ 479 will operate as the inbound service.

Singapore Airlines will use an Airbus A350-900 aircraft on its services to Cape Town and Johannesburg, which carries 253 seats across three classes; 42 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 187 economy seats.

The new flight schedule will be as follows:

On board Singapore Airlines’ A350, there are 42 seats that unfold into fully-flat beds with plenty of storage space in and around each seat. The cabin is configured in a 1-2-1 layout with direct aisle access for every passenger.

Whilst in Cape Town, why not visit the numerous artisan and farmers’ markets as the ‘Mother City’ has in the last few years exploded into a foodie haven with a great café culture, fine dining restaurants, and diverse nightlife scene.
