Ben | November 30, 2012

Silversea Cruises will offer a little adventure and a lot of luxury on 15 all-inclusive cruises exploring Alaska from May to Sep13.

The small size of the 382-guest Silver Shadow allows it to take guests up close to Alaska’s majestic scenery, abundant wildlife, native culture and gold rush history.

A seven-day sailing between Seward and Vancouver will see Silver Shadow cruise the Inside Passage with visits to Ketchikan – set within Tongass National Forest; Alaska’s capital Juneau; Skagway, and Sitka, as well as spectacular Tracy Arm Fjord and Sawyer Glacier. All-inclusive fares start from US$3,350 per person, double occupancy, with twelve sailings on offer between May and Sep13.

Alternatively, enjoy a longer 11-day round trip voyage from Vancouver in Jul13, which includes additional visits to the Canadian ports of Prince Rupert and Victoria on Vancouver Island, as well as Wrangell, Alaska. Fares start from US$5,550per person double occupancy.

Guests can also experience a range of exciting pre and post-cruise land adventures that include Denali National Park, a floatplane ride to bear country and a tour of the Canadian Rockies. A complimentary scenic train transfer along the famed Alaskan Kenai Peninsula to or from Anchorage Airport will also be on offer to those embarking or disembarking in Seward.

Silversea’s fares include all-suite accommodation with butler service; gourmet meals with menus designed by Relais & Châteaux; complimentary wines, Champagne and spirits served throughout the ship, and all gratuities.
