With its highest score ever, Crystal Cruises has been voted Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best Large-Ship Cruise Line” for an unprecedented 16th consecutive year.   The ultra-luxe line’s score of 92.45 is almost 2 full points greater than any previous Crystal score.  For the prestigious magazine’s 2011 readers’ survey, reader-travelers rated cruise lines on staff/guides, itineraries/destinations, activities, accommodations, food, and value.

“To have new and returning discerning travelers consistently vote Crystal Cruises as their World’s Best vacation is extremely gratifying,” says Crystal President Gregg Michel.  “I’m very proud of our shipboard and shore-side teams who have a genuine passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences.”

Crystal Cruises’ unwavering pursuit of excellence not only extends to its service standards and respectful treatment of the environment, but to its abundant choices, quality and value.  Among its 2011 product enhancements were the seamless introduction of Open Dining by Reservations evening dining option, a chic $25 million makeover of Crystal Serenity, and a wealth of complimentary programs and services, such as a “You Care, We Care” voluntourism program with every sailing, a brand new stage show, Pilates Reformer classes on its World Cruise, and spirited interactive “Ocean Views” panels at which noted world affairs experts debate issues of the day.

“Our innovations are thoughtful and always carefully executed,” comments Michel.  “Whether we’re making sweeping lighting changes or fashioning private alternatives to group shore excursions, our new services, programs and features are always designed to enhance the guest experience with the utmost style, comfort and attention to detail.”

From enlightening enrichment speakers and classes to the exquisite cuisine of Nobu Matsuhisa, Crystal Cruises has been consistently lauded by world travelers, travel agents and industry critics for its host of complimentary features.  Condé Nast Traveler readers voted Crystal Cruises “Best Large-Ship Cruise Line” for a record 17th year. Recently, TravelAge West’s travel agents voted Crystal the “Cruise Line with the Highest Client Satisfaction” (for ships carrying fewer than 1100 passengers).

Crystal’s 922-guest Crystal Symphony and 1070-guest Crystal Serenity sail on itineraries of seven- to 100+ days throughout Europe, New England & Canada, Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera, South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Asia.
